Civil Society reports to the second Friends of the Forum Meeting in 2012

GENEVA, 27 April — On 27 April the second Friends of the Forum meeting under the Mauritian Chairmanship was held in Geneva. ICMC’s Civil Society Coordinating Office made a report to the FOF and presented some elements of the GFMD Civil Society programme for 2012. Find here the report.

Chair Mauritius presents final GFMD 2012 States Concept and Work Plan

GENEVA, 14 February 2012 — Following two months of consultation with states and civil society organizations and two formal brainstorming exercises in Mauritius, the Mauritian Chair of the GFMD 2012 put forward its final concept paper and work plan for the government programme of the GFMD 2012, under the overarching theme "Enhancing the Human Development of Migrants and their Contribution to the Development of Communities and States".
